L2 Early Years Practitioner (EYP) – Full and Relevent

The Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of working with babies and young children from birth to 7 years and supports the development of the practical and technical skills need to work with children up to the age of 5 years.

L3 Early Years Educator (EYE) – Full and Relevant

The Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator provides learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. This qualification supports the development of advanced practical and professional skills needed to plan, implement and lead high-quality early years practice.

Learners will develop a secure understanding of child development, safeguarding, health and wellbeing, and inclusive practice, enabling them to support children’s learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The qualification prepares practitioners to take on greater responsibility within early years settings and to promote positive outcomes for children and families.

L3 Assessing Vocational Achievement

Suitable for those wanting to pursue assessing occupational competence in the work environment or in environments outside the workplace such as workshops, training environments and in the classroom.

​​L3 Teaching Assistant

The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship equips learners with the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work effectively as a teaching assistant in school and education settings. This apprenticeship blends on-the-job experience with structured training to develop confident practitioners who support pupil learning and contribute to positive outcomes.

Apprentices will gain an understanding of child development, inclusive practice, behaviour support, and effective communication with learners, teachers and families. They will learn how to assist with planning and delivering learning activities, support individuals and groups, promote a safe and inclusive environment, and reflect on their practice to continually improve.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship leads to a recognised Level 3 qualification and prepares individuals for a rewarding career supporting teaching and learning across primary, secondary or special educational settings.

Level 3 Team Leading

The Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship develops learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours required to lead and manage a team effectively within a workplace setting. This apprenticeship combines practical on-the-job experience with structured training to prepare individuals for supervisory and team-leading roles across a wide range of industries.

Learners will gain an understanding of leadership styles, performance management, communication, coaching and motivation, and the ability to manage day-to-day operational activities. The qualification supports apprentices to build confidence in leading teams, resolving workplace issues, and driving continuous improvement to achieve organisational goals.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship leads to a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification and prepares learners for career progression into team leadership or supervisory positions.

L4 Assessment and Quality Assurance

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to monitor and maintain the quality of assessment within a learning environment. This qualification supports practitioners who are responsible for ensuring assessment decisions are consistent, fair and meet regulatory requirements.

Learners will develop an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance, including planning and carrying out monitoring activities, supporting assessors, and maintaining accurate documentation. The qualification prepares individuals to internally quality assure vocational qualifications and contribute to continuous improvement within their organisation.

​L4 Leadership and Management

The Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management is designed for aspiring and practising middle managers who are responsible for leading teams and managing operational performance. This qualification develops the knowledge and practical skills required to confidently manage people, resources and processes within an organisation.

Learners will gain an understanding of leadership styles, performance management, team development, communication, and operational planning. The qualification supports managers to build effective teams, drive organisational objectives and reflect on their own leadership practice to support continuous improvement.

L5 Leadership and Management (ILM – City & Guilds)

The Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is aimed at experienced middle managers and senior leaders who are responsible for strategic oversight and organisational performance. This qualification strengthens advanced leadership capabilities and supports progression into more senior management roles.

Learners will develop strategic planning skills, lead change and innovation, manage budgets and resources, and enhance organisational performance. The qualification encourages critical reflection, evidence-based decision making and the development of high-performing teams, enabling leaders to drive sustainable growth and positive organisational outcomes.

L5 Lead Practitioner

The Level 5 Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship provides learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work in a senior leadership role within early years settings. It supports the development of advanced professional practice and leadership skills, enabling practitioners to manage and lead teams, ensure high-quality childcare provision, and drive continuous improvement. Learners will gain the practical and technical expertise needed to lead on safeguarding, curriculum planning, staff development, and partnership working with families and external agencies, supporting children’s learning and development from birth to 5 years.
